Deluxe Safari Tent
Up to 3 guests. Meals included.
Facing the River Nile
Every Deluxe tent faces the River Nile, so the view from the deck is the same country the elephants cross.
Stone floors throughout
Cool against bare feet even at midday. The same stone used in the lodge walls, quarried from the region.
Handmade African Rustic furniture
Every piece shaped by hand, carrying the same grain and weight as the timber walls around it.

Six safari canvas tents make up the Deluxe collection, each built for up to three guests and facing the River Nile, close enough to the land that the land is impossible to ignore. The old expedition camps of a century ago were built light for a harder reason: they had to move whenever the game did. The Elephant Oasis keeps that same spareness without ever needing to pack up. Each tent rises from a foundation of poured concrete, framed in timber seasoned long before it was cut, finished in stone and the hardwoods that grow along this stretch of the Nile. Underfoot, the floors are stone, cool against bare feet even at midday. The canvas walls run pale against the color of the bush, catching the first and last light of the day, and built to catch whatever breeze comes off the river. The furniture, shaped by hand by African Rustic, carries the same grain and weight as the walls around it. A small desk and chair sit against the canvas wall, an end table alongside, room enough for a letter home or a few more pages before the fire outside is lit. Paths of rock lead from each tent back to the rest of the lodge. The bathroom carries the same build in miniature: floor and walls in African stone, a single basin set into a vanity of African wood beneath a broad mirror. The shower offers both an overhead fitting and a handheld one on an extendable line, open to the sky above but screened against insects, so the water falls under open air without inviting anything else in.
