Planning a trip well starts with understanding what you're actually choosing, room by room, night by night, before you ever have to ask. Here's what a stay at The Elephant Oasis looks like, laid out plainly, the way we'd want it explained to us.
A Deluxe Safari Tent is $200 a night for two guests sharing, $150 for one. A Luxury Safari Tent runs $260 for two, $190 alone. Both come with breakfast and a full four-course dinner every evening, composed fresh by the kitchen rather than repeated across a fixed menu. Traveling with more than two in a tent is straightforward too: an extra adult adds $60 or $70 depending on the category, a child between 3 and 11 adds $40 or $50.
What experienced travelers know to ask about, and what we'd rather tell you upfront: drinks, activities, and services are priced separately from the room itself. That's not a hidden cost, it's simply built around what you actually want, rather than folded into a single number that doesn't reflect your particular trip. Drinks can be paid for individually at the bar, or covered entirely with a $50-a-night package for travelers who'd rather not think about it again once it's set. Game drives, the Nile boat safari, guided walks, and chimpanzee tracking are each priced on their own and built into your proposal based on what you choose.
For a sense of what a full stay might look like: two guests in a Luxury tent, drinks package included, comes to $310 a night. Over seven nights, that's roughly $2,170 for accommodation, meals, and drinks together, before any activities are added.
